1. When is Patch Day?

Patch 4.2 will be released on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at approximately 11AM PST.

2. Why are Valor Points being converted to Justice Points?

Tier 12 armor is being released with 4.2 which will be purchasable with Valor Points. Thus all existing Valor Points will be converted to Justice Points or else the players with stockpiles of Valor Points could just buy full suits of Tier 12 on the first day of the patch. And we wouldn't want that now would we?

3. What should I do with my Justice Points?

For the love of god don't spend them!! Its the worst mistake you can make right now. Save them because when 4.2 comes out you will be able to purchase Tier 11 armor using Justice Points. But remember that there is a 4000 point cap to Justice Points. If the combined total of your Valor and Justices Points together is more than 4000 then the extra points will be converted to money (47 silver per point to be exact). So manage your points carefully.

4. How do I start the 'The Elemental Bonds' quest?

The quest is available to players that are level 85 and is obtained from the players capital city, Alliance (Stormwind) or Horde (Orgrimmar), which will send them to Hyjal to meet Thrall.

5. How do I get to the Firelands 10 and 25 player raid?

The Firelands Raid can be accessed through Mount Hyjal. The only requirements is to be level 85 and have a minimum ilvl of three hundred and fifty something. I don't know exactly. Its either 355 or 359 for normal mode.

6. I'm a casual player, What is there for me in this Patch 4.2?

'The Elemental Bonds' quest and Regrowth and Molten Front daily quest hub. The new encounter journal could help get you introduced to heroics. New haircuts! And umm.. well there a quest for a balloon pet in the capital city of Stormwind and Orgrimmar.

7. What are the requirements for the Regrowth and Molten Front daily quest hub?

Two requirements. First you must be level 85. Check! Second you must have completed enough quests in Mount Hyjal to have reclamined the Regrowth Area. Aw crap! If your like me your going to need to go to Hyjal and do some questing.

8. Are there any quests that stand out to you from patch 4.2?

Yes but mostly from a lore perspective. A quest called 'The Rest is History' will reward players with Leyara's Locket and also give insight into the transformation of Archdruid Fandral into Majordomo Staghelm.

9. How do I start the quest to get the legendary staff 'Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest'?

Let me just say don't start what you can't finish. Just kidding. Go to the Firelands and kill a Molten Lord. Molten Lords are elite mobs in the Firelands. Killing one will unlock the quest for you, after which you need to visit Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar or the Wizard's Sanctum in Stormwind to pick up the quest. You'll find them pretty close to the entrance. Good luck!
