It appears that in Patch 4.2 there will be a new cat form for druids, however it wont be easy to come by. The 'flame cat form' is an effect from the item Fandral's Flamescythe which drops from Majordomo Staghelm. The staff will transform players into a flame cat provided that its equipped. It isn't clear how long the duration of the transformation lasts, some sources say it lasts 20 seconds and others say its unlimited.
Druids have been waiting a long time for something like and this looks to be the first of what could be many druid form altering items. I just hope that Blizzard makes the item druid only so that hunters keep their hands off of it.
UPDATE: In the PTR the fire cat form shows that the effect will last as long as you keep the staff equipped in your weapon slot and remain in combat. In addition here is a link to PTR video of the new cat form via OMFGcata.
