Image and video via mmo-champion.com/ gives us a preview of the new legendary item to come in Patch 4.2. According to Zarhym here is how players will begin the epic quest.
Molten Lords are mobs in the Firelands. Killing one will unlock the quest for you, after which you need to visit Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar or the Wizard's Sanctum in Stormwind to pick up the quest.
For players that are interested in the quest I have given some non-specific details to summarize it as best I could without spoiling too much and for those interested in spoilers click the video at the very bottom.
These items will be used to create the Timeless Eye and travel to Coldara. Players will be sent to fight their way through a special edition of the dungeon 'The Nexus' and uncover a vision using the Timeless Eye. The information found is to be taken to Mount Hyjal.
Next its the players job to recover the Branch of Nordrassil from the firelands however its still unclear how, but most likely from a boss. Then Kalecgos will ask for 25 Seething Cinder from the firelands raid.
The last step of the quest that we know of will require players to kill Ragnaros in the Firelands to retrieve the Heart of Flame. That isn't likely the end of the questline but it appears to be everything that is known about the legendary questline so far.
